Dom:字母圈中的支配者(Dominant)
In BDSM culture, what defines a Dominant? A Dominant, often called a Dom, is the partner in a D/s dynamic who takes the lead, just as a submissive or S takes the backseat. At its core, being Dominant means being the one in control in your play sessions with a submissive. That doesn’t necessarily mean being loud and controlling in your daily life – but it does mean you have a strong desire to dominate in the bedroom to a degree where your dynamic is healthy and enjoyable for you both. There’s a lot of confusion between Dominators and Alphas, which are all about power. But when it comes to Domination, it doesn’t always mean power. A woman can be a Dom and a man a submissive. A Dom not only guides play during sessions and makes rules, but he also guides the path the relationship takes. Dominants tend to be more confident, decisive, strong-willed. Dominants are often more focused on powerful pursuits than submissives, who are the ones who typically enjoy serving and admiring their partners. Submissives can come from all backgrounds and personality types, but they are typically known for their strong sense of loyalty and service. In fact, many people who are submissive report feeling more confident and stronger in their everyday roles after exploring their submissive identity.

It’sMasochism if you get the pleasure from suffering."
"He says controlling and dominating someone is VERY different than inflicting pain yourself. Control is an abstract power a person has. The ability to take control doesn’t mean you are capable of inflicting pain.", Baragona says. "In BDSM culture, they call people in a control/submissive relationship S&M sometimes, but that’s not correct."
BDSM(绑缚和调教)网站Englishsub.info的创始人Marco Batres也承认这一点。 "All the activities outside the physical limits and pain play are {\
